Welcome to the Hewlett Elementary School PTA

Welcome to all of our HES families!

Everyone here at the HES PTA is so excited to welcome the children and parents back for another wonderful school year.  Our goal is to ensure that our children are having the most amazing experiences at HES. We are here to advocate for the education and well being of every child as well as continue to strengthen the relationship our families have with the educators at HES.

Many of you may not be familiar with what the PTA does at Hewlett Elementary, and although the list can get long, certain items definitely deserve mention. We serve to enrich the day to day experiences and education our children receive. We provide author visits for each grade as well as cultural assemblies. We promote equality and kindness with anti-bullying initiatives, and anti-bullying assemblies for the children. We also celebrate their accomplishments with fun treats throughout the year.  One of my personal favorites is the Fall Pumpkin Patch, where each of our students has an amazing time picking out the perfect pumpkin from the HES field which gets transformed into a real live pumpkin patch. 

The list can go on and on, but the most important message is that we are only as strong as our membership and our volunteers. Every member of our PTA is a volunteer, and everything that we accomplish is through the hard work and dedication of parents and educators like you! Please be sure to join the PTA and know that every dollar raised goes directly into the activities we provide for our children all year long. There are so many ways to help, whether donating time, a skill set, ideas, or supporting our fundraisers. Never hesitate to reach out and see how you can get involved and be an integral part in what brings smiles to the children's faces and opens their minds to the world around them.
