DIRECTIONS TO HEWLETT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

From Manhattan:

 •Brooklyn-Queens Expressway or Queens Midtown Tunnel to Long Island Expressway (LIE - 495) EAST.

•Long Island Expressway Exit 30S to Cross Island Parkway SOUTH. Stay on the far right of the road and follow the sign to Cross Island Parkway (1/2 block off LIE).

•Cross Island Parkway Exit 25A - Southern State Parkway EAST. This is the last exit on the LEFT hand side (sharp curve).

•Southern State Parkway Exit 13S - Central Avenue South. This is the first exit after entering the Southern State Parkway. Continue on Central Avenue. You will go under a railroad overpass. Continue straight on Central Avenue, which will become Mill Road after you cross Sunrise Highway. Continue on Mill Road until you reach Peninsula Boulevard (there will be gas stations on all four corners).

•Starting on Mill Road heading south toward Peninsula Boulevard. Make a left onto Peninsula Blvd. Continue under the train overpass to the 2nd stop light at Stevenson Road. Make a right onto Stevenson Road, and make your first right onto Kew Avenue. At the first stop sign make a left onto Herkimer Avenue and make a right into the school parking lot.

 From Eastern Long Island:

•Take Sunrise Highway (27) West through Valley Stream. After passing the Valley Stream LIRR Station make the first LEFT onto Mill Road.

•Starting on Mill Road heading south toward Peninsula Boulevard. Make a left onto Peninsula Blvd. Continue under the train overpass to the 2nd stop light at Stevenson Road. Make a right onto Stevenson Road, and make your first right onto Kew Avenue. At the first stop sign make a left onto Herkimer Avenue and make a right into the school parking lot.
